Come and join us for a fun packed half day fishing trip (five and a half hours). All the bait, tackle and deck hands are included, we will be doing some traditional bottom fishing with Scarborough reels, but for those less adventurous we do have grinders on hand. You’ll experience a unique dry beach launch in the protected lee of the Beacon Island. All our trips depart from the Ski Boat Club on Plettenberg Bay Central Beach.

In summer we depart at 06:00AM for morning trips and 13:00PM for afternoon trips. You can expect to catch a range of species including Cape Salmon (Geelbeck), Red Stumpnose (Miss Lucy), Red Roman, Katonkel (Atlantic Bonito), Mackerel, Kob (Kobblejoe), Yellowbelly Rockcod and Snapper.

In winter we depart at 06:30AM for morning trips and 13:00PM for afternoon trips. You can expect to catch a slightly different range of species than the summer trips, including Hake, Butterfly Gurnard, Red Steenbras, Red Stumpnose, Kod (Kobblejoe), Mackerel, Snapper and Red Roman.

Come down a little early to grab a coffee at our Adventure Island Headquarters. You’ll find us right by the Central Beach Car Park.

We will go with a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 10. We do also offer a private charter option where you can book the whole boat for you and your family
