This exciting half day fishing trip runs predominantly in Summer. Leaving at 06:00AM and 13:00PM. You’ll experience a unique dry beach launch in the protected lee of the Beacon Island. All our trips depart from the Ski Boat Club on Plettenberg Bay Central Beach. We supply all the bait, tackle and deck hands to help you catch your fish. We are usually targeting a few different species

Garrick/Leervis – We target on surface lures (E.g. Plugs) while dragging two live baits on trap sticks to maximise your chances!

Yellowtail – We target this awesome fish on surface lures and troll with feathers, rapalas and deal baits

Sharks – We have a number of sharks that we can target in the Bay, these include Hammerheads and Bronze Whalers. These always give a tough fight and are then safely released back into the ocean.

Tuna – these awesome fish require the most pristine conditions, water temp/clarity/bait fish. When all these conditions align the tuna trip is one of the most memorable, one in a lifetime experiences. Enquire separately about this when you book. Minimum 4 people.

Come down a little early to grab a coffee at our Adventure Island Headquarters. You’ll find us right by the Central Beach Car Park.
